From 2020 to 2022 Manuel Lossau photographed at the Kottbusser Tor in Berlin. A place that has been steeped in history since the 90s and has not lost any of its attention to this day. Today the place is burdened with prejudices, not least because of the media coverage. For the photographer, the place is more than a crime hotspot. A place where people from different backgrounds meet. A cross section of society. ⠀
